Term 2 Week 8 - Reminders and notices for the week beginning 19 June … This Wednesday 21 June is Wig Wednesday, being held to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation. All students are encouraged to wear a wig, a hat or a headscarf and to bring a gold coin donation. Please note, it is not a mufti day, the children should still wear their usual school uniform. For the last two weeks of term the Dental Van will be at our school; they will arrive next Monday. Some children will have a dental check and if follow-up treatment is needed a note will be sent home so that parents/caregivers can make an appointment time at the Glenfield Intermediate Dental Clinic. Term 2 finishes at the usual time of 3 pm on Friday 7th July. Term 3 commences on Monday 24th July. Well done/ka pai to all of the families who took up the Science ‘Wow’ project challenge; we were so impressed with the effort that had gone into this and the creative projects that came in.
