Term 3 Week 2 - Reminders and notices for the week beginning 31 July … This week our student-led parent-teacher conferences are being held on Wednesday after school and on Thursday from 1.15 pm (please note this does not apply to Room 1 children). If you have not already made a booking, or wish to change a booking, please phone the school office (online bookings are now closed). All students must be collected at 12.30 pm on Thursday as there will be no supervision provided after that time (unless prior arrangements have been made with KidsKlub). This week we have attached a newsletter from the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) curriculum team, led by Karen Rodger. Thanks to Karen and Trudy Thumath (GATE teacher) for preparing this for us. Last week all students were given an Ashton Scholastic Lucky Book brochure. These are sent home once a term so that those parents who wish to buy from the catalogue can do so. These orders must be received at the office by 11th August. No late orders will be accepted. The Life Education caravan will be here until Wednesday of this week. If you have not already paid the $6 for your child, please do so this week - this can be paid straight into our bank account if you prefer: 12 3053 0370789 00 Noah Stapleford has lost his named polar fleece. Please return it to him in Room 14 if you come across it. Please note that the parking behind the shops opposite the school is for private parking not public parking. Please be aware that in future, cars that should not be parked there may be towed away at the car owner’s expense. We also remind parents that the bus bay is only to be used by parents with parking permits i.e. mostly for our special needs students. No one should be parking on the dotted yellow lines. Tomorrow is Scout day and children who have cub/scout scarves are invited to wear them (and their scout uniform if they wish).
