Term 3 Week 4 - Reminders and notices for the week beginning 14 August … We appreciate your continuing support with our major fundraiser for the year. Find-out-a-thon testing will be held this Wednesday 16 August. All children should return their sponsorship forms to their teacher on Wednesday morning; we will record each child’s test results on this sheet. Later in the week test papers and sponsorship forms will be sent home so that sponsorship money can be collected and given to the School. Movie Fundraiser: Our PTA have organised a special preview screening of Captain Underpants, The First Epic Movie, based on the plot of the original book series. This will be held on Sunday 17 September at 3.00pm, Berkeley, Takapuna. The event is being supported by Angela Temata and Vanessa Morgan from Harcourts, Cooper & Co. Please put this date in your diaries. Tickets will be available from our office at the beginning of next week and will be $12.50 per child, $15.00 per adult or $45.00 for a family (2 children, 2 adults). Our school is introducing recycling for soft plastics and today we are sending home an information leaflet about this with the eldest child in each family. The Dental Van will be at school as from next Monday for one week. Please note that this van is used for check-ups only and if your child requires treatment you will be asked to make an appointment at the Glenfield Dental Clinic situated at Glenfield Intermediate School.
