A Walking School Bus is just like a school bus but children walk to and from school under the supervision of adult volunteers (often parents). Benefits include: improved fitness, making new friends, decreasing traffic around the school gates and improved safety. If you would like to start a Walking School Bus, or find out more, please contact Freddie at freddiebess@outlook.com; 021 774 311. If you come from far away to get to school, don’t worry, just park up and walk the rest of the way ☺ We are currently driving 2 Walking School Buses down Coronation Rd and Evelyn Place. Feel free to join in! We look forward to seeing you on the Walking School Bus! Enrolments for 2018 at Takapuna Normal Intermediate close on 8th September. Any inquiries should be made directly to the Takapuna Normal Intermediate school office. Ngā mihi nui Jennie Stewart (Principal)
