Term 3 Week 8 - Reminders and notices for the week beginning 11 September … This week is Whakanuia te wiki o te reo Māori - Celebrate Māori Language Week. The Digital Citizenship poster is on our website page called Why Choose Us - http://www.sunnybrae.school.nz/why-choose-us.html The Middle Syndicate classes (Rooms 8, 17, 18, 19) will be visiting MOTAT tomorrow (12th September) from 9.05 am – 2 pm. The cost is $11 per student: please pay this at the office if you have not already done so, or if you prefer, you can pay online: Account No 12 3053 0370789 00 An evening for our Pasifika parents and students has been arranged for tomorrow night (Tuesday) from 7 – 8 pm in the staffroom. We hope to see all of our Pasifika families there. School and individual photos are being taken on Thursday 19th October. Each child has been given an envelope with full details re cost and ordering. These envelopes must be returned to the office before 19th October. Reminders from the PTA as follows: Order forms for calendars have been sent home – please collect one from the office if you did not get one. Orders need to be sent to the office by 20th September. Family Movie This is a special preview screening of Captain Underpants being screened at the Berkeley Cinema, Takapuna on Sunday 17th September. Tickets: $12.50 per child, $15 per adult, family pass for $45 - available from the school office. The movie event is being sponsored by Angela Temata and Vanessa Morgan from Harcourts, Cooper & Co. (Please note: tickets must be purchased from the school office by Friday 15th – there will be no ticket sales at the venue) The Yummy Sticker promotion ends this Friday. Please send in any sheets of stickers you may have (full sheets and partially full). Find-out-a-thon fundraiser – thank you to all those who have contributed to this fundraiser – so far $7,500 has been raised. Please send in any other contributions.
