Term 1 Week 5 - Reminders and notices for the week beginning 27 February … Staffing Update It is with regret that the Board of Trustees have accepted a letter of resignation from our Deputy Principal, Cathy O’Hanlon, effective from the end of this term. Cathy is resigning her position to spend more time with her family and work on some home projects; we will farewell her later this term. Cathy’s position is currently being advertised. Tuesday 28 February International Food Festival Organising team meeting at 7 pm at school – see email contacts information below. All welcome. Thursday 2 March Meeting for parents of students taking part in the ESOL support programme at 2 pm in the staffroom – separate invitations have been sent home. Friday 3 March Full school assembly at 2.15 pm in the hall. Hosted by Rooms 11 and 16 – all welcome. Monday 6 March Senior Swimming Sports from 9.30 am – 12 noon at the Birkenhead Pools, Mahara Avenue, Birkenhead. Students will be transported by bus. Parents/caregivers are welcome to attend; please bring a portable chair to sit on as sometimes there are not many available. Scooter training will commence on 6 March with Constable Steve Harwood. If you would like your child to take part, a signed permission form must be returned to the class teacher. The form is attached to this message and is also available to download from the website.
