Kia ora koutou parents/caregivers, To continue to provide a quality education for your child/children, it is necessary to generate additional income to maintain our existing programmes and resources. The school donation qualifies as a donation for tax purposes and consequently you can recoup some of it through the Inland Revenue IR 526 claim form. This tax relief brings the net cost of the donation, for one student, down to just over $100; which equates to approximately 50 cents per day for the year. If you want to claim this for the 2016 financial year, it will need to be paid by this Friday 31 March. The School Donation for 2017 is $160 per student (maximum of $420 for 3 or more children) Payment can be made at any time by using one of the following methods: Cheque payable to Sunnybrae Normal School EFTPOS payment (Credit Card option not available). Via Internet Banking - ASB Account: 12 3053 037 0789 00. Reference Child’s name and what the payment is for.
